Well, I wish I could provide 50 hours of work for free, but it's not a small amount of work and it takes time away from my other projects.
If 55 new pianos aren't worth money for you, then that's cool. There's a free sample PCG with four programs and four combis that you can download from the site. It's a bit of a taster of what the full collection is like, but there's no obligation to buy. The eight pianos in the free sample PCG are decent pianos in their own right - not crippled in any way.
Yah, I'm not a big fan of people coming to a community contribution board and try to sell things. DAZ wrote tons of software, gave it here for free. X-Trade wrote some awesome patches for the RADIAS, gave them away for free. I tore down my workstations and figured out hacks, I gave out the information for free.
I think you miss the idea of community. If you are only here to sell, I won't miss you if you leave. If you are here to be part of the community, you'll realize that many of us here contribute every day to help people - for free. You feel you are owed for that.
And I've been a member since before that too. So if you're not interested in paying for some piano sounds, that's fine. But I'm not some random spammer coming in here promoting dubious pharmaceuticals. This is an M50 forum. I have an M50. I've made some pianos for the M50.
Like I said - if you're not interested in pianos, or if you're not interested in paying for sound, that's cool. That's your choice, I won't hold it against you.
But... For you to say that I should not be paid for my work *is* hurtful. I hope I've misunderstood you.
I think Kim is acting like Stephenkay and his powerful Karma. A very complete an high developed software, and obviously you have to pay for it (even there is not a demo or shareware available to download). And it´s posted here as a sticky. What´s the difference then?

The difference is that Stephen Kay is a developer for Korg, is of the family and one of the most important users of this comunnity....
I don't see other people coming here to do advertise...

Ok, he is one of the most important users, and develops programs for Korg, but if he works for Korg, why do I have a brochure of Karma software for M50 that warns: "Karma M50 Software is a third party product of Karma-Lab. Korg does not support or sells this product directly. All support issues related to purchasing and using this software are handled by Karma-Lab"?.
Still waiting for somebody to explain me the differences.

Look around, how many people besides Kim are selling patches? Sharp has a post about people using regular forums (instead of the buy/sell) to sell stuff.
And it's Stephen freaking Kay. If he came into the M3 thread selling his 1987 Mazda, I'd give him a pass. Same with Bob Moog and John Bowen. They have contributed enough to the community.
