I don't think you'll be missing out on much at all if you're upgrading from a Triton to a Kronos. In my opinion, everything the Triton is strong in, the Kronos is even more stronger!

Yeah. If Kronos doesn't please me, I might consider a new generation Virus or a MOD-7 stand alone synth (which probably never will be released).

Ah, the MOSS board...I forgot all about that...good point...I thought the MOSS board was more equivalent to Yamaha VL technology (modeling of acoustic instruments) than it was an analog synth.
