Korgforums News Update........

Good Evening, In the news tonight a big shock in the Synth world where Morshu was quoted as saying
i do use two plugins
Previously he has stated that
HARDWARE IS BETTER THAN SOFTWARE.
Sources close to Morshu have commented that secretly Morshu uses a computer 98% of the time to make and play music. The reaction around the synth world was been high, as many fans of Morshu have been calling for Morshu to stand down as President of the Software Sucks Campaign. Many critiques are asking if Morshu will be able to maintain he's VIP status on Korgforums. Only time will tell.

You've been listening to E-Static. Good night.

you do notice that the two plugins i use are 3osc and fruity compressor lol those are probably the most minimal plugins you could possibly use. I only use them because they are free and back up a track well. I dont call if software, I call it... freeware! But yea. I only use plugins though, because i dont have enough money to afford a moog voyager and some moogerfoogers and cords to replace that 3osc and fruity compressor... lol

So yea, Hardware is STILL #1

That's like saying "I only slept with two prostitutes, and I only paid them $20 each - that's like the most minimal prostitutes you could possibly use."

You should resign as president before you do any more harm to the campaign, your position is rapidly becoming untenable.

well it doesnt matter, they might've been 20 dollars, but they were more than worth it- I could've paid them 10,000 but i decided not to because i'm just that pro.

On second thoughts are we even sure Morshu is human.
I've seen a new computer OS which can post messages on forums which appear to be responses from another real person.
So perhaps the question should be "When were you created ? and are you version 1.1 ?

Message
Observer
Response
System
Human
Utility.

Think about, incoherent posts with partial truths mixed with information which is not relevent.

Quite a few yrs ago this same comparison came up and I did a demo comparing my then new Radias (when they first came out) to my JP8080, Voyager AE and Jup 8.
Bottom line was ppl really thought the Radias compared well to the infamous JP8080 supersaw and moreso then the V and JP8. I still own both the Radias and JP8080 but the V and JP8 were sold. I have heard Sylenth1 and if there was a software synth program that I would buy it would likely be it. I wish that I still had that file to post back. Never thought about doing this with my P08 or Juno 60 so maybe I'll get the 8080 hooked back up and do another comparison. These sometimes can be a fun exercise and I just ignore the typical comments about programming skills and you should have done x,y,z instead. It's all in fun anyway, at least from my stand point because why would we want all synths to sound the same, each have their particular strengths and weaknesses. Many here luv the Voyager, I had a V a Source and my old MiniD in the studio together for a couple of years - much preferred the sound of my miniD so the Source and V were sold. Sold my JP8 only because I had owned it for over 20 yrs and just wanted something else and was getting worried about maintenance costs etc. as it aged.
