I'd just like for them to recall and fix any flaws in the SV1 I already have!

Yeah, how about an SV-2 with an 88 weighted keybed that weighs under 40 pounds, has the EP-1 / CX-3 / MS-20 engines from the Kronos, and samples for the piano.
Simple interface like the SV-1 but twice as many knobs, with deeper editing via computer. And multi-timbral like the Nord Stage: keys / organ / synth
Assuming decent piano samples and a price point below $2,500, this would be a direct competitor to the Nord Stage.
namm etc...

Just think last year we all were FREAKING OUT about the KRONOS. I have heard NOTHING about NOTHING for NAMM 2012 except for a new MOOG synth. That is actually exciting, but I am more interested in new KORG, ROLAND & YAMAHA releases. But since last year we saw the KRONOS, JUPITER-80 & MOTIF XF, I guess this NAMM will be for the OTHER companies to release something. MOOG is in the lead so far with the BUZZ...

I think it takes too much time and effort these days to develope new workstations. The tendancy has been to just tweek existing platforms, so we may not see anything new this year in workstations. This is probably OK since more than 90 percent of the users probably only use 10 percent of a workstation's capabilities anyway.

well, i think that we can expect two major NAMM2012 announces from korg:
1) little Kronny (or maybe sometime later)
2) and maybe some replacement for RADIAS, if they are not going to stay with R3 (which i like a lot, yay!)
but the most "awaited" thing for me is Kurzweil's ROM expansion for my PC3x

I'm with you for #1. Many people are expecting the M3 to be discontinued in favor of a "Kronos lite," with hopefully a decent build quality.
A replacement for the Radias... well that would be nice, although they'd have to go a long way to surpass it. I really love my Radias and am just scratching the surface with it! It just offers so much.

I wish Korg would offer something for guitar-to-MIDI conversion.

They did have one in the past.

A reliable and predictable guitar-to-MIDI system may indeed be a great idea whose time has not yet come.
