Funny, it's exactly my plan, keeping the USB for a gooseneck. Plus, I didn't like the idea of plugging something on the USB port that would be dangling (the USB-Ethernet Apple thingy).

And considering the price of a brand new Apple adapter compared with the WL-330N/G3, the cost is pretty similar. So long as you feel confident about opening your Kronos, then the WL solution is far more sleek and useful.

That said, I totally agree with Saxifraga regarding using a mobo equipped with wlan. A real shame Korg didn't do that in the first place.

Maybe for product code "son of Kronos" !

Finally got mine installed last night. Did the initial setup on the laptop (including a firmware upgrade) and then moved it to Kronos without a hitch! The only thing that was a pain is removing the endcap to get proper clearance for the cables and the re-aligning everything. Haven't tried any transfers yet, but my FTP client was browsing the drive like lightning!
