--- Full program edit access in Combi and Seq Mode. (Yamaha's SY77 from 1989 can do this!!!) Because otherwise you will never have the chance to manipulate a MS20 Sound with the virtual knobs on its beautiful graphic interface in Seq- or Combi-Mode.
--- Drum Program editing in Program-, Combi- and Seq-Mode not like now only in Global Mode.
--- Effect Send for individual Drumsounds adjustable in Program-, Combi- and Seq-Mode and not like now only in Global Mode.
--- Flexible storing of Programs into Banks, not like now, just either EXi or HD1 for a whole Bank.
--- More Program slots due the many EXi's that are meanwhile available.
--- Get rid of the GM Sounds or make it an option to blank them out from the Program list or put them al least to the end of the list.
--- Drumtrack as in the M3
--- Touchscreen editing like in the PA800 and M3-Xpanded: Touch a parameter and change its value by moving the finger on the screen.
--- Velocity-Meters (Midi and Audio) for each track in Seq-Mode and in Combi-Mode or at least an indication which part in a Combi actually is sounding.
---And of Course: Give us at least the Sequencer of the M3-Xpanded.

Very nice post Dany.
Great list.
I (and be sure, most of us) fully support everyone of them.
You have resumed perfectly all the features most of us have been listing all this time.
We absolutely need poly AT on the more complex sounds of the newer sounds found on the OASYS, M3, M50, etc. and Korg is heading us in the wrong direction to get around this now selling non-AT boards. In 1990 this would be a sin and NO ONE would buy one after using AT on more natural simple sounds. If you ever play a poly after touch board with poly source you will see what I am saying here and never want to go back to channel AT if you play with two hands and they have 5 fingers. Gezzz. Next OASYS must have poly AT or Korg is way too hard headed so will complain about this “no AT” thing being laid on us by Yam, Roland, and now Korg as well to get around the more complex sounds being used that go nuts and sound like crap using channel after touch and two hands.
I still play an M1 but need two M1s split to get needed poly and cool thing is it gives me two channels of after touch, right and left hands separated instantly, and I can split the keyboards more on different midi channels to get poly after touch...almost, but way better than full channel AT that is usually way too much on complex new sounds.
The need for poly AT goes for all new synths...not just the OASYS!

What would you prioritize for your $$ on a low-end keyboard? More ROM waveforms? A better display/interface? Knobs and controllers? Not losing FX in comparison to the higher-priced model.
Note - you're not allowed to just say, "I want it all."
I think Korg hit it with the M50 really cutting corners where they did. Right now Poly AT is my biggest gripe as it limits basic expression playing and I am really seeing this with the M50, as with the Triton but we are not talking low-end here I'm afraid. The M50 is actually the only “low end” keyboard product I ever purchased and know it has potential beyound my own current skill level and I won’t outgrow it soon. These things eat time so best spent learning lastest technology not my older stuff after hearing the M50 88 at GC. It’s sound is the reason I got it. Really it was the price saying how can you not buy this wonderful sounding machine without stuff you already have at this price. I have never applied the time needed to any of Korg's products so can't complain about not enough features to use but have found limits when trying a few things out so those missing bridges surly noted by others would be as far as I could go on that issue. Truthfully the WS/AD humbled me setting it up with an editor back when it came out and I barely scathed the surface of its true potential and waited it out for the M50 that came with an editor and a USB port it seems. After I hit enter to send this however I am running the M50 through the WS A/D to see how it sounds just for fun.
Next is always higher sound quality, but again not supposed to be a low-end feature, as found topping all competitors on the OASYS so far to my ear. For the money the M50 comes enough close setup right and these two things are what I'd most like to pay for as they deliver the most bang for the buck making the experience of just playing better. An updated OASYS giving easy high end recording a nod over any new features or synth engines with poly after touch on a quick weighted action is about as good as my mind can go right now as it avoids your question of low end board needs. I am a hardware freak and like good sliders and knobs and willing to always pay for quality controls. I like the control hardware the M50 has for the price as it works well and feels quite nice but it will be a while before time gives me a break to get inside it as I want looking at the 400+ page parameter guide. Can see why they are online to save on shipping weight.....so I'm OK with the features for a while..... and blown away playing the M50 using poly after touch.
I know it costs a lot to add poly after touch but its well worth it and really above anything else now in my needs department. Would be especially nice added to the M50 88 key action which I like better than Roland’s G I find a tad slow. Hopefully Korg technology will come up with a cost effective way to add poly after touch on the lower end keyboards and wonder about laser detection technology costs. I promise to buy high-end if I have too to get it, but lower end works even better if Korg could pull it off.
A demo instructional DVD would be nice....showing how you set the after touch and such parameters quickly and a run down of the features in a demo to get ready for the manual. That’s about it really. I’m right back where I started talking to Ronnie at Harry’s asking what is going on with poly after touch disappearing and telling a friend I will regret selling him my A-80 that had it.

As I noted elsewhere here, I was very impressed with the M50 balance of features vs price, particularly in the 88 variant I tried. That didn't sound, play or feel like a "low-end keyboard".

Danny I think you're pretty spot on with the wishlist, the only thing missing from the list would be the RAM issue. 2GB of RAM get filled up awfully quickly. I just noted in another post that (I may be wrong) with Exs-1 and 2 loaded you only have 1GB of RAM available. If you have programs that are based on new multi-samples, you run out of space in no time at all. Here's to hoping for a bright future for the Big O!
IF the development team is thinking to add the bargraph meter (like in the M3 expanded) , i would suggest not to do it on the screen (like the M3) but better, use the leds of the oasys control panel (green)
i agree about the clipping thing, but yours tracks should not clip inside the oasys!
and yes, on screen it's a cool and interesting feature, but i would not like the screen being messed and uncleared with all this information. ok it's a big screen, but you have the 16 parts in a row, so add the meter beteween them will not be an easy task (to leave the on screen info as neat as it is right now).
I fully support the inclusion of the M3 expanded bars meters in Combi and Sequencer mode, it would be a very useful feature IMHO, especially in Seq mode, I hope to see it implemented one day !
BTW I rather would like to see it implemented in the screen rather than on the faders, even more with the fantastic screen the OASYS has, so you could see the whole 16 MIDI or audio tracks at once.
It would be both useful and impressive at the same time.
