I miss my old Pro-One - the sequencer was a joy to use

I have some more requests regarding per program/combi item:
- transpose per combi (optionally excluding drum track)
- setting of switch functionality (80/81) per program/combi

- I would love a transpose function per combi, for example in the setlist.
But only if it transpose the timbre/sound instead of the keys. This way the midicontrollers you use play the transposed sounds also. Otherwise you have to transpose the controllers also.....

I'm not really sure what you mean ... what I could do in PCG Tools is doing a transpose of set list slots which transpose the program or combi being used and for combis it would change the pitch of each (non drums?) timbre.

When you set organ rotary with the joystick, the light on control button 8 shoud switch on as well (so in other words: not only when you push the button the light will turn on, but also when you use the joystick for rotary).

An easy setting to switch of the VJS (e.g. in global) to be able to use no VJS while gigging but use VJS at home.

Possibility to edit KARMA GEs onboard the KRONOS, and to store them as user GEs..

Add Wifi and LAN port to the hardware
+ Add a Korg market to the OS so you can install Apps.
= WIN!
I already have a bunch of ideas for these apps:
- a webbrowser which lets you surf the web, download lyrics, MIDI files, etc.
- app for buying and installing EXs and KRs libraries directly
- Soundcloud: browse songs and upload sequences directly to soundcloud
- Agenda to manage rehearsal and gig dates
- Dropbox: Sync files from the HDD to the cloud
- MP3 player, which allows you to play along with MP3 songs
- Karaoke app, that presents lyrics on the screen while playing
- Kronos social community app which allows a community to work on "open" projects. You can upload projects, download projects from others and make changes. (I think Steinberg has had this idea...)
- Spotify (online music player)
- All kinds of games, similar to guitar hero but with a REAL instrument

- Soundhound/Shazam - app to recognize a song you play
Do I need to go on ?

Just the ability to load and play MP3's would do me...I really cannot understand why ANY keyboard manufacturer there days does not recognise the MP3 format....
wav's are just too large, and the hard drive capacity is not all that big really. My iPad has more storage than this Kronos!!!

It requires a license although there are free open source alternative codecs, which shouldn't be too hard for korg to code into OS. The material stay's small on the disk, but it's generally decoded into "full-size" whenever it's being used for playback - thus making it competitive for storage reasons alone.
The lossy audio also means less flexibility one it comes to do some DSP on it (effecting, mixing, etc.) although that's not really the point here. Kronos should be able to decode/recode anything, so, +1 (including discrete surround sound formats fed into the remaining audio outupts).

With great power, comes great responsibility... and virus.
A comunity of developers would certainly make all the above happen but for that Korg must open up that platform, not necessarily revealing the code (would be a legal nightmare on legacy material) but making public SDK's and create an aproval framework for dedicated app's release.
That would also certainly resolve any deficiences of/with their coding team, which are quite noticeable right now.

Hmmmm, does not seem to be an issue with Korg Italy. All the PA series keyboards had the ability to read and play MP3s!!!!
And imho, an MP3 at 296 has almost no discernible difference to a wav in sonic quality when played via a PA (audio) system, but it sure is a LOT smaller...
