I don't know that he broke any such news about the MPC touch. I can just as easily say I broke the news about the Electribe 2 after the fact. But here I am, posting on a thread about a product that may not exist, months after it was fabricated.
They say hope is the last to die...

Could be a total lie. but I think it's probable to add a performance sampler to the AIRA line.
Music Messe is in a month, maybe well hear something then?
And maybe Korg will release a killer update for the E2's.....
We can all dream right?

I think there will be a sampler otherwise that dude would not have got he sack; but the fact there is something serious in the pipelines may explain why dude got the boot for exposing secrets

I dunno. He could have got the boot for ostensibly spreading lies. We shall see. If he turns out right somebody owes him a big fat apology!

You guys (with the exception of jpeg) have absolutely no clue. The leaker The Knoq is highly credible. After NAMM he wrote at Gearslutz:
I'm right as Roland is developing such a product, we'll just have to wait for whenever they're ready to officially announce it, but I was dead wrong to speak on the video I saw. I already apologized to Roland, my former employer and to the person who showed us video and now I apologize to everyone here at GearSlutz. I will keep my word and never post here again. Goodbye and take care.

The guy lost his job for releasing the information. He was working for some well known NYC producer. During the course of his duties there he was given access to some up and coming products, e.g. MPC Touch and he got to watch a video about a new Roland product. Basically his employer would have signed an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with Akai and Roland. In that contract the employer agrees to ensure his staff keep their gobs shut as well. So Tha Knoq not only embarassed his employer, he might have got his employer sued for breach of contract. At the very least his employer is no longer being given access to pre-release products anymore. So a bit of internet attention seeking gets Tha Knoq the sack and probably costs his employer some potentially lucrative sponsorship deals with Akai and Roland. But both of them saw the new sampler/workstation with their own eyes, that´s for sure. It´s definetely coming. So stop posting BS, please.

Who's posting BS?
And no one ever post's BS over at Gearslutz?
Are you The Knoq, here to defend your rep? Cuz this is a pretty odd first post otherwise.....

those are only "BS" if they aren't true, and thus far there is no evidence that they are false-- just words on a screen. I hope you have an oxygen mask, for the air up there on your high horse is surely thin.

My point exactly.
and nice work taking my post out of context raubentaucher

The fact is that it would be a logical move for Roland. Whats the competition right now, E2s (which was a disappointment to most, and even supporters admit it could have been better thought out) and the Octatrack (Expensive, many complain its difficult to use), oh and that Casio millennium falcon looking thing with a sampler in it (very limited features/memory).
But whatever. Good luck on your crusade to stop BS on the internet....
