Have a look at this video I shot demonstrating the TC-Helicon FX150 monitors specifically for keyboard monitoring...

I can't recommend them enough even before their recent update that enhanced the bass end in a way that even further defies their size (150W) They are also extremely versatile in terms of connectivity and mixing of 3 separate signals (vocals, sax and a pre mix of keys/bass/v-drums in my case) each channel with its discrete eq and even reverb if you want it. The FX150 was actually originally designed for vocalists but this monitor really is capable of handling anything thrown at it yielding a clear defined sonics not a long way off from studio monitors.
Also you can physically place them more intimately within your rig in many different ways being small with various angles for floor mounting or use the mic stand catch or bottom hole to hook them up to mic stands. I've used QSC and other more conventional larger format monitors in the past for years but changed to a pair of FX150s when they first came out in 2014 and never looked back!... was sweetly surprised and pleased to find they bely their small footprint- really inspiring to use both on stage and in rehearsal and so much easier to transport around!
What are you using for stage amplification?

The FX150 is also great paired up with a VoiceLive 3. TC Helicon's one-button vocal processing with de-essing, compression, and EQ makes it a great "more me" vocal monitor before sending the signal out to the VL3 or board. The reverb and individual level controls let you dial in a sweet monitor mix that sits comfortably over the stage mix.
Still use my QSCs for mains, for now. Looking to get the Turbosound IQ12 speakers though, for twice the wattage and the integration into the XR18/X32 Ultranet ecosystem.
Truth is, we musicians have so many affordable, decent quality types of gear to choose from nowadays, thanks to Class D amps, neodymium magnets, and mature DSP processing. It's always good to have options...
