That is Synchro Start/Stop, not the regular Start/Stop.

That is the most probable solution. I would say more. This will let us load on the fly SongBook entry with style when other style is in use, just like it works with SMF files loaded from Songbook.

The reason is probably due to lack of understanding what Korg intend but so far we do not have the ability to STOP/START 2 different STYLES.

Yes, we will be able to mix two styles. Play button of the song is also start/stop of the style, it depends in which mode you are.

Also, you will be able to fade in/out like song.

2 styles at the same sounds highly illogical

What happens wheni push ending in style 1? This would also end style 2? And prevent me from mixing the style 2 over the ending style 1..

I don’t think there will be 2 styles at the same time

Tend to agree with that.... in other words, at what point do the style controls (FILLs VARs etc...) switch to the correct style playing? If the controls activate both playing styles then it is a ridiculous unusable feature

The only way i can see this happening, is with an automation feature… where you start style 2 in de background at a synced tempo… and then automatically or use the slider to fade in/out.. and if you want to change the tempo…

You could also use the slider to switch from A to B…. As soon as you are 70% towards the new style the controlls take over the other style..

On the Genos, it you can set a knob to mix between style and multipads.. its kind of very nice to use..

These leaks seem credible. I mean, if a was a faker, i wouldn't remove the main start/stop buttons.

I'm more concerned by the lack of the balance knob and 8 Gb of ram is a little disappointing comparing to a juzisound box that gives you the ability to stream 256 Gb of stereo samples directly from a sdcard.

Lest hope this is just 8 Gb of buffer memory because audio styles are the future those 16 pads deserve more memory for loops, backing tracks, one-shots, vocal phrases, sound FX, and more.

First of, audio styles are not the future, by now many Ketron users realise they are a step back, because they are just not as flexible as midi styles.. high quality sounds like revo drums combined with technologies like round robing and such make drums far more realistic then a contously looping audio track..

While it sounds great, its just a step backward..

8 GB of ram, combined with sample streaming however would be a dream…altough, that 8GB nowhere got a confirmation in the pictures/photo’s.. so it could just as well be an assumption..

The future where it comes to sounds is in the power of the synthesis engine.. and the engine of the pa series should set a step deeper then just samples, think FM, VA, wavetables, wavesequences, modelling, Combined with more filter options..

Its time Korg italy has a look at the Kronos, Fantom and Montage to see where the real workstations are moving and follow that lead..

Not likely Korg US did react to dealers, they didn’t want to say anything about the picture… tough they said 26 April as release was impossible..

So basically we have to wait some more time, maybe even till after summer..

Above photos of genos 2 and korg pa5x are fake. It appeared in the Internet 3-4 years ago on the occasion of April Fool's Day.
