Just asking... Are you playing a factory setup (new out of box), or have you imported anything from a previous device?

With many comments about the import process affecting some of our systems, I think we should be clear whether or not we have adjusted anything when posting Bug Reports.

Antony Sharmman has shed some light on this in previous posts.

yes that's right, I have imported data from korg pa4x.
So it's possible that the import is not stable yet?

They probably have a serious problem that we don't know about.

This has been added to my previous bugs summary list.

- Note Number AMS SOUND parameters values are altered when octaves are altered in KBD Set mode , this never happened
in PaSeries before and must be corrected !
This bug affects ADSR time setting of AM & PEG when octaves are altered in KBD set settings while manual Up/Down octaves
by panel switches work fine !

Chord sequence hangs often and in general it has many bugs.

If you press stop rec on the hardware stop key it erases all things recorded

I have done a video clip of what I have encountered. I was changing the keyboard set while holding a chord and if I change one note of the chord to play another chord the accompaniment changes and most tracks does not sound. The display shows C bass or G bass according to the chord; This happens only after a keyboard set change; Please see the below video

I have noticed few other issues in the style recorder. I remember someone posted a video showing he could not change the CV length in the style recorder. We can do this in the Pa4x. The workaround is to delete "current chord variation" one by one on each track. Then you will be able to change the measure length.

Also I have noticed the following ;
Say if we have data on V1cv1 and nothing on V1cv2. If I just change the CV to cv2 and press play, the cv1 data will play and copied over to CV2.

Also If a variation has 2 bars (Eg: F1cv1) as an example; if we re programmed the style in a DAW with the same variation with one bar and import it to the Pa5x, the variation still play as two bars. It plays the first bar with the data and an empty second bar, To overcome this I had to delete the "Current chord Variation"on the tracks first in that particular variation before importing the midi file. Then it plays only a one bar pattern

Yes this is one of the issue I have mentioned above. This can be overcome if you delete the whole variation channel by channel using ' Delete current chord variation " button. In the korg Pa4x this issue is not there

- Manual bass was not working while it was One Finger, but now works in advanced,

- PAD VOLUME slider affects only in active MATRIX pad, If I press another matrix pad, it will play with maximum volume,

- Quarter Scale resets when I change chords on imported style and few internal styles

- too much delay on style changing,

- Importing from pa4x set gives always error, cannot import everything,

- Cannot save STS and mixing on factory styles,

- after playing some styles in player 1, the fader was fully in left, Started a mp3 song in player 2, the song started in full volume even the fader was fully in left.



* It would be very very nice to allow customizing other sliders/button settings, (main, style, etc..)



Guys can you confirm these bugs?

I don't feel like writing here. KORG is entangled in its own problems. There are more and more mistakes. This is evidence of the kind of experts who develop the system.
I personally also regret the condition in which they released the Pa5X.
So these new bugs will NOT be fixed, only the "promised" ones
and almost a very long 2 months until release.

This piece of overpriced garbage has ruined all my performances so far. People who know me are turning and wondering what's wrong with me.
On its own during the performance (gradually as I play) it lower the volume to 20-30% maximum on the sound of the right hand and there is no way to increase it unless you restart it from the beginning. In the songbook, when I go from one setting to another, "Please wait" appears and stays forever unless I restart from the beginning.
This is a lost cause for us who are used to a little more than factory sounds and styles, but when we have nowhere to go and so aware, we have to hope for apparently impossible things.
Of all they knew, they knew only to set the price as high as possible.
We will write to each other after December what they fixed or could not fix.
