The chord detection function works, but only with the MIDI DIN Input. With a USB-MIDI connection it does not work properly.korgpask wrote:The chord detect from midi function has been removed. Instead of repair, it was removed, which was humiliation of Pa5X and deception of the customer. Before buying I wanted and used this function and now the tool in this SCAM. It's already gone.
Pa5X
In other words. During startup, the position of the slider is not monitored and passed on to the style engine. Then I think I understood it correctly?JagiChan wrote:After power on, the style player does not respect the position of the style fader control.
How to reproduce the issue.
0. Push the style player slider to one side (player 1 or player 2 side) fully.
1. Power On the Korg PA5X.
2. DO NOT touch any button or slider.
3. Play default style 1 loaded, using the play button.
4. Play default style 2 loaded, using the Play button.
Now you can hear both styles playing even though the slider is not touched (even the LEDs on the style players light up).
5. Move the slider to player 1/2 side.
6. Now the issue is resolved and the players respect the slider position.
Seems like a software bug during initialization.
Correct; please see the video in the original post. There are bugs with other sliders also. I will check and post the issues and how to reproduce them.DaPale wrote:In other words. Also in the manual. It seems no bug or the bug is in the manual also.JagiChan wrote:The matrix velocity curve cannot be set. It is grayed out. Settings -> Controllers
See Matrix and try to change the curve type; not possible.
The default is Medium.
