Regards to all. I am from Serbia. I only registered for this thread. I have had a Korg Pa5x since March of this year and have had the same problems as you ever since. Please don't fight. If we waited until now, we will wait another 10 days. Any information is useful. We are all rightfully nervous, but the forum exists to help each other. If a man claims that the information is valid, let's believe him. It doesn't matter what the OS will be called, whether it's 1.2.2 or 1.3... It's important to fix the problems, so that the keyboard doesn't block. To get actions-functions that do not currently exist. Anything beyond that is a plus. And I believe that it is not easy to remove all that and that is why it takes so long. But certainly a minus for the fact that they threw out a keyboard with errors from the factory, as well as a minus for the fact that they have no communication with users. If anyone else has any information that is safe and valid, please write. Thanks in advance to everyone and greetings from Serbia!

information not to be anxious , and this will never happen again when people like you disrespect that !

There will be no Korg representation in here or in any forum anymore , get used to it and take care of your attitude !

Discussion is over ...

Thank you Antony, reassuring to know that the long wait may soon be over.😁
What’s the point in stressing oneself out, not going to make it happen any sooner.

I blame Korg for causing this "hard feeling" toward each other among us (PA5X users).

I wish that Korg starts to release any updates as soon as they completed each issue instead of holding on for all the fixes to be completed then throw out a major update. I rather receive 1.2.2 today, 1.2.3 next week, 1.2.4 next month, and so on... instead of 2.0 in 5 years or 3.0 in 10 years. Life is too short and people need their 5X to recover as soon as possible from an unexpected cancer!

It appears that Korg may not be prioritizing customer satisfaction, which is concerning for those seeking an accurate representation of the company. If this is the case, it may be prudent to reconsider our financial support of Korg based on the statements made by AnthonySharmman.

Folks let's not spat over what we have no control on. Sharmman has provided the info he knows and so have the others shared what they know. Let's wait until the cat's out of the bag. Give or take about 10 days more and the truth will unveil itself. Good things come to those who wait; so let's all stay calm and focused. God bless.

Indeed, I fully agree. While I maintain a composed and objective demeanor, there is no room for unnecessary haughtiness coming from a professional position.

i will go for Giglad Arranger software soon....
At least, i can prepare it properly at home, and get it out for work when i feel ready.....my guess is that it won't need 3 years like Korg does with it's products

This does raise the question of whether the Korg arranger department, including research and development, is a one-person operation working out of a small space and micromanaged by a top-heavy, inverted pyramid structure...

The Italy R&D team is at least 5 people that I know of. They are the ones working on the PA series.

It is apparent that this is insufficient and has clearly eroded customer trust...

The phrase "Speculate To Accumulate" is the guiding principle here...

A team's ineffective performance is frequently a result of poor senior management.

Hi, have you actually had a chance to try it?

I first tried software arrangers in early 2000. Livestyler and One Man Band. Both based on Yamaha styles. Difficult part at the time was getting reasonable quality xg soundfonts, so that the psr styles would play back correctly.

Then I ended up with VArranger 2. At least I was able to use a Ketron SD2 sound module with it. It was interesting as it could load Ketron, Yamaha, Korg and even Technics styles. Apparently a lot more sound sources available nowadays.

In the end just got lazy, and found it easier to turn on a keyboard. Only ended up using VArranger as source for converting styles , so didn’t go to total waste.

Be fascinating to see how far software arrangers have come in the last 20 years. 🙂
best wishes

I have used live styler. The development has stopped after Nobert Stellberg passed away. I still have the USB with the licence key. It was a good software and quite easy to use with VST support. Unfortunately no one continued developing it.
