I just got me a TR 61:
My Gods Korg come on here! Three pages so far for the most obvious request that should have already been filled, Editor for the TR!
Well I do understand that the TR is on it's way to being replaced but damn what a pain!
There's one editor...

At least a hint of a official response on the matter would be sweet

Now that the M50 is out with it's own editor it's even sadder to look at the mini LCD of our TR's..

Im ok as it is thanx

lol..
Editors are overated anyway, why not just use a VST synth or some other PC based synth, such as the EXCELLENT Korg Legacy Collection.

Because some of us don't gig with our laptops, so using a VST is not an option
There's not going to be an official editor though. Why would Korg take the time to make one for a product they no longer have in production? That's bad business sense. buy the M50 or use one of the other free editors.

LeLibby and TR-Edit Pro from SoundTower, both mentioned already in this thread.

50 bucks ain't really free, and the second one isn't a real-time editor, however a great librarian. Guess we're stuck to the LCD
And no, that's not bad business sense when it's a matter of the programist drinking a extra coffee one evening, but customer approach.

I know how unrliable the touch screens are as far as response thats why I got a TR instead of a triton. Korg probably figures since I didn't pay for the upper end that I'll be on my own when comes to editing

An combi / pgm editor for the TR would put the icing on the cake for this awesome keyboard.
