There are two main reasons. First it is the size of the files. As you know the CDs are limited to appr. 800MB. Another reason is that customers can decide which instrument to purchase and do not pay a higher price for sounds you do not need, eg in case you just want the Fender. Which I by the way had the chance to play a little bit yesterday evening.. and if the others are of similar quality then we will get some really great and authentic sounds.

As soon as I have my full equipment available I will write short reviews, maybe with some audio demos. Most likely I will start with KAROs Dance Composer followed by the Pianos.

Peter
Thanks Peter for your answer but I have to clarify my question.
When I spoke about 4CDs, it was OASYS install CD and not KARO CD.
I learnt that OASYS can read DVD and I'm really surprised why KORG choose an installation of 4CDs instead of 1 DVD.

Tomorrow we start our first recording session with the KGP1 and KGP2 libraries ... You can listen our Demos as soon as possible 8)
The grand pianos & e - piano libraries are available in the near future...
We have four first-class piano players from different areas to the rate drawn to sounds to test

Hi Oasysans,

sorry but we still need some more time... Many O - users have contact us and wanted two more excellent piano sounds and we have taken into another disk named "KGP 3" but it is also more work!
KGP 3 included a "Steinweg" and a "Schimmel" grand piano.
More details and demos soon :-)

Best wishes,

Hi,
between 7 and 11 programs it is different from volume to volume.
I will finish the PDF info tomorrow.

Good news !! This means that demo of each module is only based with1 program and that there are others different sounds for each volume, isn't it?
The 2Gb of the OASYS will be quickly filled !

The demos sound great. How many velocities were the acoustic pianos sampled at?
