We can't enjoy the M50 for what it is now?

I haven't seen uglier synth than this. Of course there is still Yamaha MM6 very ugly. Where are people who designed TRITONS and OASYS???? I'm afraid that is the past.
Serious? I guess looks are subjective, but to my own eyes, looking at the finish, the buttons, joystick, touch LCD, user interface... the Yammy MM6 looks like a home keyboard, and insanely outclassed by the M50.

You can't compare them.
Admittedly I wasn't so sure about the M3 aesthetics, it looks a little "bolted on", but I've never seen it up close.

I have checked for prices and the cost was 899GBP.
Way too much for such a keyboard

Hi!
I guess this price should be just a rumor, something like a suggested price...
As you know, catalog prices from Korg are always far too higher than real street prices...

It's going to have to deliver at that price then. I will still check it out to see what it sounds like, but I definitely want one.
The M3 is too pricey for me and It seems Korg have gone for a particular market with the M50, i.e a step up from an X50/MicroX and below an M3.
I have a MicroX so I wll be looking at the sound quality and types to see if it worth the upgrade.
I heard that Karma is an extra and is software based and will cost for the software so I will take that into account as well. Anyone know the cost for this?

Karma Oasys goes for $169, the same is for Karma M3.
I don't expect a very different price for the Karma M50 software.

That makes the M50 near a grand (£1000) in England

I'm giving a look to 2 of the most common webstores:
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/M50-61/
http://www.zzounds.com/item--KORM5061
That seems to be the same price of a TR...
Quite a nice deal, isn't it?

That's correct. However, KARMA M50 lists at $199, for the reason that it adds a feature that is not available at all, whereas with the others it adds additional functionality to a feature that already exists in the keyboard.
Having said that, the fact is that included in every box of M50 is a flyer that gives you a special deal of $50 off when purchased within a specific time frame. So it would be $149, provided you don't wait too long.
Note: that offer is not available in Japan.

I hope in Italy it'll be the same!

Agreed- will get myself to a dealer and check out the M50 and go for the Karma Software too.
Have checked the software out on the Karma site and it looks really good.
