Rob. Any commercial insight at Ketron is like going back to the 19th century. It is total crap. Good PR is crucial for a big market like arranger market, but PR is very bad at Ketron. Only local.

Of course PR at other brands is also bad, but Korg and Yamaha etc do not need good PR. The arrangers sell themselves.

But for a brand like Ketron, trying to discover the market, good PR is vital. Too bad they are not focussing on this enough.

It is like Subaru. A good brand with potential, but totally lacking of good business models. It cannot be worse :)

Its not assumptions, it is facts. Another thing. Audya has 64MB Sampling
Ram but loads 96MB due to better compression. Also Audya is ready for
more then 64Mb Sampling, its not locked at that but not yet...

Hi Nedim,

Direct HD streaming of samples is revolutionary. If it's fact, then why don't Ketron tell us all about it on their web site? This has to be the biggest PR drop off of the year!!

Best regards,
Rob

I wish they did...but even if they wont dont you think other engineers can
come up with it? I know Korg can...i have to take Jerry to BKlyn first, to
Sahara...for lunch.

Hi Cheirons,

The Pa2x display moves up and down, it has hardware sliders, and it can address up to 256 Mbytes RAM. These things are software controlled and therefore must have needed changes to the Pa800 OS.
