Companies will always 're-invent the wheel' (or at least give the illusion of such) as long there's a bottom line to pursue.
Then there's the old "no news is good news", but I'm not sure about that in this case. Maybe Korg has some groundbreaking mother-of-all-arrangers in the wings and is driving some kind of pent up demand strategy. But that's just the optimist in me.

So there is no truth (yet) in any rumours..

Korg take over by Casio?
Korg buying Ketron?
Korg dropping the arranger market?
Korg suffering from global financial crisis?
Korg suffering from global warming?
(completely joking of course)
...their silence is now sad compared to what we used to have...
We must also consider that Korg may have changed its policies regarding forum-related communication - but at least they could tell us??
Come on Korg - just a simple message to let us know you are OK - even a blank message
Cheers

Hi Pete:
We're doing OK - thanks for asking!
We never talk about/speculate about future developments or products, so we don't tend to get involved in the threads, but we do watch/listen.
We're certainly not being bought out, nor are we dropping arrangers from our product mix. And while the economy has been hard on everyone, we're not about to fold the company. Everyone in ALL the development groups are working very hard on "things". News comes out when we're ready. Sorry... I know that frustrates some people.
OK - gotta get back to work!
Regards,
Jerry
