"PART 2" which was supposed to include some
Audio samples of what you were talking about. Remember? You said something about strong Guitars? Strong Bass? Strong real instruments? Strong percussion? Some magic styles that could get you through a gig without knowing the songs (and keys of those songs obviously), the singer and pretty much nothing about the gig?
You know, it's very rude to keep the fans waiting? Make some sound using the best patches and styles you have and post them on here please!
It's about time to get some Musical action going on this forum. It's all been talk , talk and talk!

Hello Sam, I wanted to know if you're still interested in making some more styles for us. I have a list of 10 songs , 4 of which i'd like to be able to play for my Son's birthday in May. I just need to know if you are going to help us with this list.

Hi Aisha, 10 songs will take around 30 hours or more. I can't promise you to do that many right away. I'm very busy now, so can only do one at the time. Why don't you post your list here? Maybe someone already has some of those, or be willing to program some of them? I can do it, but I just can't do them all right away.

Thanks Sam, that sounds good. I corresponded with two other musicians who make Indian styles. To my surprise, they only had very loud indian drums and not much of anything else unlike korg factory styles which are nice and full.
My husband bought a few CDs that have Ethnic Indian and Middle Eastern drums. He wanted me to ask you if there's a possibility of using those with this keyboard. I'll post the updated list of songs soon.

Yes, that's totally possible. Do you know if they're only loops or single hit drum kits too?

Ok , that sounds really good. In general, I don't like loop Libraries all that much for couple of reasons. Sometimes they serve their purpose though. Single shots are more useful. You just make one drum kit and make your own custom loops out of it.

Likewise Aisha, it was nice to mee you guys too. There's a few threads around here. There's a sticky thread called Tutorial which has a topic on slicing loops.

I can sing and play the melody, but I dont' know what to do about the rhythm part. I don't know what kind of rhythm it is. Has anybody played this song before? Thanks

I've heard this song before. Niranjanjaveri has programmed his version of it . I think it's his wife singing along with the arrangement. She's got a lovely voice:

I dont' know if there's a good factory style that could reflect those rhythmic elements in the song, but If you dont' care about that, I guess you can pick a 4/4 ballad style. For songs like this midi files or song styles are best. I think it sounds confusing at the beginning because it sounds kind of off beat, but it's really just a 4/4 song. The original youtube song is very thin in arrangement, but it's one of those songs you could turn it into a massive orchestral piece.

If you are not very particular about exact reproduction of the song, you can try factory style "Beguine" or "Lite Beguine". This will be very close to the beat for this song "Pani Pani". With minor tweaks and edits, you can make pleasant changes to this style to suit the song.
