Happy, aside of the RH3 issue with my K73.

It's an amazing synth and I have a lot to learn yet..

I've been exceedingly happy with my K61. It really does all of the things that I've bought Korgs for in the past and it's a great complement to the Legacy Collection- especially using the VJ with KLC Wavestation. The collection of inputs and outputs makes it killer in the studio and there's something new to learn every day.
I have to say my favorite feature so far is the MS-20EX's ability to pitch->CV track external audio- gobs of fun with a bass guitar and has inspired my performances as well as production.

Summary: I'm very happy with my Kronos! :)

Cheers!

I'm not what you would call a player by a long stretch, but I've had them all.
Nor do I collect them. Right now Kronos is fulfilling all of my studio needs. I have a ton of plugs, but find myself reaching for them only by choice.
Nothing gets in it's way and if so, it provides the work around. I'm probably using 1/4th of it's potential and there's more to come.
Okay, so it's not built like a tank, but I don't play out, so it resides safely in it's own custom desk.

Killer piece of kit!

+1

My wife gets annoyed because she only sees my back (got my kronos in the livingroom). She wants me to watch the tv with her, but i dont (dont watch much tv) :)

BUT im in totally awe when it comes to the Kronos. Its warm and beautiful. I also have a Korg R3 and a Ensoniq TS 12, but they sound pale and flat in comparison. Have tried rerouting them through the Kronos and it helps, but not enough :)

I'm also a happy Kronos 73 user.

Have also the issue with the RH3 keys. There are 2 issues with it, clicking sound when pressing a key (high F key) (check the post about it on http://www.kronoshaven.com/kronos-video ... he-kronos/) which got fixed by my local musicstore and the other one is the cut-off tones once a while. But i'm patient and will wait for the fix for that of Korg.

In the meanwhile i enjoy every moment i play on it :)

I have a solution for that. Buy a keytar, and start playing it in front of the TV, yelling "Look how awesome I am, honey!".

Worked for me :-)

Having the Kronos for a few months now, I can say I am pretty happy with this workstation. The only thing I don't use is the internal sequencer (I use CuBase on my DAW). The sounds are crystal clear and the features keep me busy for the coming years. Build quality seems good on my board. The keybed, all the knobs sliders, the datawheel and the joysticks are all fine.

The only thing that isn't always working accurately is the touch screen. I sometimes have to select an option more than once to really select it. Since that doesn't bother me too much, I don't see it as a negative thing.

did you calibrate the touch screen?

Yes, I calibrated the screen. That helped a little bit, but still not 100%.
But it's no big deal to me; I simply press another time until I hit the sweet spot. And with the editor coming some day, plus the sequencing being done on my DAW (27" flat screen), I don't see any issues for the future either. :)

TV steals her focus...
