One thing i haven't tried is to MIDI another keyboard to the KRONOS and see if the stuck notes still occur via MIDI assuming the sustain pedal is on the other keyboard. I think it's something to do with the software or computer myself, but I'm guessing...bluestaff wrote:This problem exists for more than a year. I've tried everything. Switched pedals, all brands and styles, changed the damper jack on Kronos, had it for a month and a half to the technician who was trying to figure it out, but with no luck... I'm starting to think that it is a faulty instrument, my own, but from what I read other people have faced the problem. The thing is, because I make a living from playing on this instrument and I don't have time to program hundreds of songs from scratch on another keyboard, I've thought about purchasing a new Kronos X and ditch the one I have now because I don't know what else to do. The thing is, will it behave normally, or will it do the same s**t all over again?

To err is human, to completely screw up is a computer. I hope my sustain issue doesn't get chronic and that the new OS 3 fixes it.bluestaff wrote:Tried that as well, no luck there either. It's definitely a software or computer thing. The thing is I can't do anything about it, and apparently, neither can Korg!...
Looking forward to the new KRONOS 2 reviews to see if the bugs have been worked out.
Good luck to you.

Hi
I experience the "stucked notes" problem in sequencer mode; i already have tried EVERYTHING to make the stuck notes stop, but only thing is to stop the sequence, change to another song and come back to the original one. But... that only stops the stuck notes; if you restart the sequence, you will hear the problem again.
I have nothing connected to the kronos with OS 1.5, except the power connector and the audio cables. it seems to happen mostly on the sequencer track #6 and #7.
Is there a fix for that problem, or did I forget to verify a special setting or something the like? HELP!!!
BR Mike

It´s me again
If you copy the affected track to another, you will copy the "stuck notes" problem as well. If you re-record that track, you will reproduce the problem, too. The problem seems to occur randomly, while many other sequences (bought or self-recorded) work as they should.
I have looked through the MIDI setup, tried to figure out if there could be a feedback problem from one track to another, but... nothing.
I also have tried to send Control Change messages (e.g. #72 release time value 0), but there is no effect. I also tried that CC72 in other, not affected tracks to see if the notes in this (non-effected track) will sustain with CC72 value 127 and stop again with CC72 value 0... and they do, just as I expected that.
So... where am I wrong?
