Hi

I add some improvements, especially a clean KSC file (thanks Francois for tip).

The links are on the initial post.

Thanks
Rubinho

hmmh...just out of curiosity...I wonder, if such a piano could be converted to a Motif XS patch (with 2gb sample ram, it should fit?). And how it would sound then? Very different due to the filters?

I think so....very different!!!

I don't have XS anymore....Maybe by Awave Studio you could translate KSC to XOW.

So the problem will be wait the load process!!!

Hang on, have you just modified the PCG which link you give as a separate file, or have you also changed the KSC file from the original archive released in August ?

Dear Rubinho
Thanks for posting this. It's really great to see a guy with a "can do" attitude, especially one who shares his stuff. You have also encouraged me to have a go with creating some pianos.....I use Chickensys Constructor.
Best Wishes

No, there is no problem as such. But if you have modified the KSC, that means redownloading the large archive too, not just the PCG file.

Saal,

Thanks for words...
For me was very important this process, I've learn a lot.

Francois,

Yes. It is important "change" the KSC.

By the way....when I tried to discover what was the problem on the first KSC, I saw something new for me.

In fact there is nothing "new", but with 2.0 the process is easier .... I think could be good for those who did not RAM up-grade and also to reduce the initial load...(hope it is helpful to others and that I could explain in English)

My example was with the EX3 (but work whith Users.KSC).... I've load all contents / samples of the Exs3.KSC, but only use some progs / samples.

Anyway.....the process are:

- Note which samples you need to keep - see the Progs (in my case only 5);
- Clean up all memory
- Load at KSC who want to "lose weight" (in my case EXs3)
- Go Global -> sample manager
- Select the bank stereo (Brass & Woodwinds EXs3 Stereo)
- Right Menu-> Select All
- Uncheck the MSs who wants to keep press unload
- Check the bank mono and if necessary...do the same process
- Click on Disk-> Save -> Save Sampling Data
- Select Include Both Sampling Mode & Links
- Options: ALL
- Save a new user.KSC

Just add this new KSC on autoload and remove the old (in my case EXs3).

The new KSC does not use a large space on the SSD, it is a simply index for the original KSCs (so it is important not to delete the original SSD).

With this, we don't need load KSCs to RAM, unload some samples, save a new KSC, remap progs...

Cheers, I'll take a look at the website link you gave me, thank you.
The other two links on the previous pages still show a file not found page.
