The Rest doesn't work... Bah.
Have you solved it out yet?
I found it difficult to set it up with the FCB computer program, but it was quite easy to program the FCB1010 manually. I set it up to
Sw 1..5 - start/stop, var 1..4
SW 6..9 - STS1..4
SW 10 - fade in/out
You only need to notice that PC showed in KORG manual is in 0-127 numbering system. So eg. start/stop is PC104 in FCB1010 not 103.
Also when you perform a calibration of expression pedals you have to configure midi channel again.
I only cannot make the FCB1010 control CC8 and CC7, though expression CC11 works ok.

i see what you are saying... but in that case when i press Variation B (example PC60) will do Variation A (PC59) right? or Variation C... depending if it goes back or front... but doesn't do nothing... just expression...

When I tried to set up my FCB1010 first, I found it easier to do it manually.
I could not program it with the PC Editor, - now I know what the problem was.
SysEx transmission was not completed though the PC Editor showed it was OK, and the FCB1010 was in SysEx receive mode, and even its LED was flashing when transmitting.
To make it work I had to check "Transmit SysEx Data as a single large block" option. I only knew it after I properly programmed my FCB1010 manually.
I suggest you tried one message first, and "Start/Stop" is a good choice to start with.
In the first step make sure you set the PC1 midi channel to 7 (the same you have set for your control channel in PA3x).
Then set PC1 as #104, if you do it with you FCB midi-out connected to PA3x midi-in, you will know when it works. FCB sends PC msg when you change it in setup mode.
And if you want to use PC Editor, then try to check the transmission was successful, by receiving the configuration back to PC Editor right after transmitting it to FCB1010
Hope this helps,
Michal

And don't forget FCB1010 has two relay switches.
You can use one of them connected to Pa3x assignable pedal input (Jack-Jack connection),
this way you have access to parameters and controls that are not available through midi.

Hello Again!
WELL! I've done it... i don't know why, but now the PC are working... (On manual it is Start/Stop at PC#103 and i put PC#104 and it works...) I've been without anything to connect by midi to my computer, so only today i've tryed again... I've done a reset to FCB1010 and it works now! (sometimes we have to leave things for a few days to look back and get something done.)

I'm glad you've done it.
I have been using my FCB1010 without any problem, what is funny I forgot how I programmed it,
I just didn't have to do it any more. Anyway I think I could learn it quickly if I had to.
Hope you'll find this controller useful. I do.
Cheers

It is very usefull! With the EC5 I had only 5 functions available. And now I can have so many as PC# let me use. I didn't try to configure it since my last post. But today it was at the first attempt. Thank you all for helping me.
To configure I used a EDIROL FIREWIRE with midi in, the FCB EDITOR FREE and just activated the PC# and CC# codes I want. With PC# it is always one more than what is said at the manual. At the moment the unique think I can't use is the Relay Switch. I was wondering use it to Harmony On/Off at the assignable port at the korg, but it doesn't work...
Well, the most wanted part it's done!

When I'm back at home, I will see the setup of the relay switch, maybe I can help you. It will take more then a week anyway.

Well, I've been trying and I did it. I've put one of the presets to interact with the jack cable on assignable port of the korg to use the vocalizer (is not programmable by the PC# or CC#). But I can activate it, but to deactivate it again I must press first any other preset and then the vocalizer preset. This is happening because the red light of the preset doesn't turn off. Is it? Is anyway to activate and deactivate the functions without press another preset between both? I was thinking to get rid of all other pedal switch and use only the FCB1010 but the sustain/damper is the same. I press once the damper preset, and until I don't press another preset it keeps holding the notes on keyboard.
Thank you a lot.

I checked my FCB1010 works flawlessly when connected to the Pa3x assignable pedal socket.
I also tried it with Mic Harmony On/Off function.
I think your problem is you haven't configured the relay switch properly in GLOBAL mode.
To make it compatible with Pa3x you have to power off SWITCH 1 and 2 LEDs in GLOBAL CONFIGURATION menu under CONFIG (read section 2.2.3 in USER MANUAL).
Maybe this example will help you:
GLOBAL CONFIGURATION:
1. Turn off FCB1010
2. Press and hold “DOWN” while powering on (DIRECT SELECT LED will turn on)
3. Press “UP” ( MIDI FUNCTION LED turns on)
4. Press “UP” (CONFIG LED turns on),
5. This is where you make sure FOOTSWITCHES 1 and 2 red leds are OFF, you can turn them on/off by pressing corresponding FOOTSWITCH.
6. Press “UP” ( DIRECT SELECT LED turns on),
7. Press and hold “DOWN” for 3 sec. to exit global settings.
Now connect your FCB1010 switch 1 (or 2) output socket to your Pa3x assignable pedal input socket with a JACK-JACK cabel.
In GLOBAL menu of your Pa3x enter CONTROLLERS page, and choose “Mic Harmony On/Off” for the assignable pedal.
Choose a preset in your FCB1010 that you want to control “Harmony ON/OFF” with.
Now is the PRESET CONFIGURATION part:
1. Press and hold “DOWN” for 3 sec. to enter Preset Configuration (the LED on the right to the SWITCH 1 and SWITCH 2 LEDS of the upper display should be flashing)
2. Now pressing FOOTSWICH1 or FOOTSWICH2 you can turn the corresponding relay switch on/off (the corresponding switch LED will turn on)
3. Press “UP” (SELECT LED starts flashing)
4. Now turn off all FOOTSWITCHES LEDS pressing FOOTSWITCHES 1 ..10.
5. Press “UP” (NUMBER LED starts flashing)
6. Press “UP” (VALUE 1 LED starts flashing)
7. Press “UP” (VALUE 2 LED starts flashing)
8. Press “UP” (SELECT LED starts flashing)
9. Press and hold “DOWN” for 3 sec. to store preset.
To check you made it all ok, look at the SWITCH1 (or 2) LED (in the top display) it should turn on when you press FOOTSWITCH 1 (or 2) and it should turn off when you depress that FOOTSWITCH.
It should also turn HARMONY button led on/off.
You can also set it up using a computer program.
Hope this helps.

Michagi! You're a genius!

It's all working! was not easy to get everything working correctly. but with your help I got there. I've used the FCB1010 a few times and it is so practical that it seems impossible.
only lacked even turn on and off Harmony, and sustain. I can now finally say that I got rid of an EC5 a volume pedal, a pedal and Sustain pedal to the Vocalizer. Thank you very much!

I'm glad you finally set it up properly.
Anyway, I would keep the EC5 just in case.
You might realise one day you need more footswitches to control your Pa3x.
Unless you have enough room under the keyboard of course.
Cheers,
Michal
