Really!?! Because storage is a huge deal for me, having only 16gb total... I think I'll go for it then. Thanks guys!

btw: roblabs, what do you think about the Tenori-e? Worth getting? I do have the original tnr-i, and although I haven't used it much, I do think it's a good app.

One of the reasons I waited so long was storage as I was in the same situation as u with 16 gb. Someone over at the audiobus forums pointed out that I would gain the space used back after the upgrade. I was pleasantly surprised to find I gained space however. :D

To be honest, I'm not that crazy about it. I never tried the original, but as the e version was geared towards electronic and dance music, I bought it. I was disappointed with the PCMs, especially. Most of them sounded thin and uninspired. If you like the original and want new sounds, I'd say get it; otherwise, if you haven't even used it much, you probably won't be using this one much, either.

With my Microkorg XL+, Gadget works with midi, but does not react to pitch bend and modwheel (other synth apps like Arturias iMini do).

Can anybody confirm?

Would bew a nice little combi for summer: Mircrokorg with batteries and iPad air.

Watching this, I can't help but think: "This is what's wrong with music today" :D There's no melody, any harmony is vague at best; it's all technology, sound and beats.

Are you saying that certain instruments have melody and harmony but this one doesn't?

I am triggering the Gadget from my Kronos via the Alesis IO Dock (using Midi Patchbay to send the data) and I am am experiencing some slight latency...

any one else having similar issues?

also what is the absolute best way to test latency (to see if it's actually happening) other than your ears... The issues I'm having are that small... it's not a huge latency... just enough to make me say... "am I hearing latency?"

Latency:

easy to fix, goto the settings on the iPad (Gear thingy) find the Gadget app and set the latency to fastest, I think its the top setting but I haven't got my iPad here and I have had a few (lots of) G&Ts!

Yes this is madness, I am sure they must add this in an update along with CC control.

You need to go to settings in the ipad itself and choose the gadget app from there to adjust latency, bar length, count in default ect..
There is a discussion about this on the audiobus forum concerning this and it fixes the latency problem.
Here is the discussion on that and much more about gadget.

Think he's referring to the actual song.
