kronos_timmmy wrote:Hi folks,
I´ve read this interesting thread and have a question: I have the chance to purchase a PA 600 with Musikant-SD-Card (and loaded content).
Can I load your V2-Set by further using the Musikant-Styles/-Sounds etc...?
Do I have to erase them for using your SET and can I restore the PA600 later to use the localized (german/Musikant) Resourcs?

Best regards

For the BKP use this link:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/glpsi ... A600v2.BKP

then klick on the green download field

For downloading the SET use this link:
www.performersheaven.net/htmsupport/PA600_V2.SET.rar

I tried both and they are working.

About your question how to load the BKP file.
I´m not on my key but go to Media - Utility - Full Ressource Restore - execute - select the BKP file (e.g. from a USB-Stick) - restore - reboot - well done.

Hope that helps. You can take a look in the Manual (Page 170) how to restore a BKP to your Key - there you´ll find an exactely description.

kORG PA600 GREAT BROA

To discover the best of Korg Pa600 make it your friend and U will see that.Grow with it like your kid.I also at the beginning said I should have bought a Yamaha but as I continue staying close to my Korg PA600 I have discovered the best of it.Be able to do a good mix of your sounds to each performance and you will experience the very best of it.PA600 is good for innovative people who will take whats before them and do a good mix of sounds. Its the best keyboard I have ever had.I always use a mix of 3 or four sounds and come up with my best. It takes time doing that and that's why I say people should make their keyboard a friend.I haven't yet able to select 2 performances and use them simultaneously. When I reach that stage I expect something more enticing.

A Performance defines the state of the keyboard. The keyboard can only be in one state at a time so you can only use one Performance at a time. If you want to take the time to merge sounds, you might be able to create sounds with more instruments playing simultaneously but remember there is a limitation of 128 oscillators. ;-)

Hi Patrick,
I sent you a mail with the link to Mega. Maybe the site is filtered by your provider.
By the way, if you need support on Dopamine, please use the specific thread for better understanding:

Hi

I have some problems loading pa600v2 in my Pa600.

1st of all, i've tried with the PA600_V2.SET. I've got the "System Internal Error" message. It has worked, but some of the styles and sounds didn't load.

So, I tried the PA600v2.BKP. This time all worked perfect... except i've lost all sounds icons (the upp1 2 3 and low, and all track icons).

So I`ve tried to go back and have done a system restore... Unfortunatelly, icons are not there... I only see an ugly "NOT FOUND" black legend where instruments icons should be....

Could anyone please help me?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Daniel,
I've never seen this strange behavior of the icons. It seems like a corrupted OS.
I definitely recommend to download the latest OS in your PA600 (v1.10)

Good luck !

Thank you for you quick reply.

I never installed the new OS version, mine is v1.0, so I'll try installing the new one.

Hope it works...

Thank you!

OK.... I`ve upgraded OS to version v1.10 and I've got the icons back.

Thanks so much for your help.

Later I'll try to load the pa600v2 again. Would you recomend the SET version or the BKP one?

Thank you

Daniel
