I have tried everything I can think with no success – When turned back on it reverts back. The lock on the assign switch does work by not letting any other source change it. No luck when I turn it on again.

Hi Bruno, I tried this suggestion and It worked for me, just give it a try.
...first unlock the Assignable switches then from MENU go and assign the 2 switches to whatever you want then lock them and push on MY SETTING button for few seconds until it asks you if you want to write startup setting press Ok and it will memorize it next time you turn on the PA900.

Asafar thank you, it is working just as you said it would.

The Pa800 does not have a “My Setting” button, all my start up settings was store in Performance 1. The My Setting button is new; it was not a part of my thinking.

The most difficult problems are so easily understood after the fact.
