I keep hearing rumours about a big 2.0 update later this year. Is there anything concrete, or is that mere speculation.

It is absolutely a certainty! At least that's the rumor I heard.

Sorry couldn't resist!

September has been comfirmed as the release month of a new huge patch...
Confirmed by both the Dutch/Belgium Korg representative as well as Jürgen Saritorius.
Whats inside that patch? Only Korg Italy knows, official Korg representatives will be briefed about the comtent of the patch in Italy this month..

I hope korg have taken note of the discussions on here historically when refining the pa4x and they have used the passage of time to test this big update properly....we wait with anticipation

Hi,
as far as I know the MUSIKANT is only available in German speaking countries, e.g. Germany, Austria, Switzerland, maybe Liechtenstein, Luxemburg and the Netherlands.
Anyway, the MUSIKANT has a lot of german words written on the case. ("Mikrofon Einstellung" instead of "mocrophone settings", style-groups "VOlksmusik", "Schlager" etc... ).
The soundbanks and styles are different from the international version
INT: style "3/3 acoustic ballad" is "AlpenParty" in MUSIKANT.
INT :"70s dicso1" is category dance, number 3, in MUSIKANT "70s Disco1" is group disco, number 10 )!!!
As well MUSIKANT has an internal HDD built in from factory.
And, last but not least, the MUSIKANT Update won´t destroy your keyboard but a lot of sounds / styles won´t sound / play because of missing sounds in the international.
Official it´s ONLY for MUSIKANT !
