A year ago the price was $99, the price has now gone up to $120. Korg always said that the EXB-M256 would only be sold direct by them and their main country distributors. I do not think it is available from any dealers.

If Korg USA sells the EXB-M256 for USD 99, how come this guy asks almost twice the price on Ebay USA?

Can you post a link to a US dealer, who sells the memory upgrade for $99?

Thanks... ;-)
I'm not sure if it was the same seller, but a few weeks ago I did a "best offer" to an e-bay seller who's Buy It Now price was $180. I offered him about $110 to account for the fact that I could get it from Korg for $120 and they would not charge me shipping. (The only reason I didn't already buy from Korg is that I wanted to use PayPal and Korg's online store doesn't accept it.) The seller replied that I should buy from Korg. I can only conclude that there are plenty of people out there who don't realize that Korg sells the card for cheaper and this guy fishes for them.

BTW, I haven't seen anybody offer the card for $99. In fact, Korg and a few guys on e-bay are the only ones I've found. It occurs to me -- it wouldn't surprise me if these e-bay guys source them from Korg and then unload them for inflated prices on e-bay...

the $120 price is intended for US customers only, and you can only get it from Korg USA. If you live in another country, you have to pay the higher price, and get it from either your local Korg distributor or from a dealer. it's one of the big controversial subjects on the M3 forum.
