It's a killer synth indeed. I have its rack version smiling at me right now. :)
Ok that makes a lot of difference. Never played on it myself but I've heard good stories about it.

It's THE atmosphere/pad/FX machine.

Yes, and last time I checked there was still strong support on Kawai's Canadian website. Such a versatile baby, capable of producing incredible punchy sounds as well as being "THE atmosphere/pad/FX machine" as EvilDragon aptly describes it. My precious K5000S never ceases to amaze me, so many resources online for patches, I have floppies galore (and surprisingly the drive still works flawlessly all these years later although the backlight has faded to dull grey). A classic indeed.

It is. It's a nice pairing with this one, the latest addition to my arsenal :-) Actually, on the same double X stand :-D

I wonder if KORG has decided to release a KRONOS module after all.
Or maybe a workstation to fill the gap between the KROME and the KRONOS.
So far I haven't heard any rumors though...

I still really want one of these. Have not seen them on the 2nd hand market in the UK for quite a while.

Like the dual screen but this still seems to be a "C" class backing keyboard - I cannot personally class it as a professional arranger.
Not too bad for the money and could well suit those one-man-accordian/guitarist/singer players.

Loved the innovation and revolutionary Roland arrangers back in the 90's with the E20/E30 (all based on the classic analogue MT32) - felt it a shame that their later models didn't really keep up in terms of "professional" quality.
G70 was nice but had many problems. I personally didn't like the VA series at all.

By the way Asena, your link was "youtube" locked as "private" so here is another if anyone in this forum area was interested:-
