Hi all, I'm new - but old ! ... first post and I hope first of many.
The FA06/8 is not in the Kronos's league nor price bracket.
It's most definitely in the Krome price bracket.
If the keybed is similar to the "Juno" type, then it will be quite playable.
I tried several boards last year, as I needed a lightweight gigging board due to a back problem.
I ended up with a Juno Stage '76 note, the keybeds on the Krome and the Yamaha Mox series were just awful IMHO.
It does look like a re-hash of the XV5080 plus some SN sounds but for
the price that's really not a bad deal when you take into account the
sampling area and the full featured Sequencer.
The aftertouch issue just doesn't bother me, I almost always turn that
off as it hurts my wrists and I'm just a bit "old school" = OLD !!
