So what do you think it does or does not do then? You are saying it will fall short of our expectations, but you haven't said what you believe it does either :)
..thats exactly what I'm saying :) and that's all I can say :)
If you know anything then you are signed to an NDA with KORG and you shouldn't even be opening your mouth at all on this subject.

Just saying.

Well you are, your telling people that it will NOT be what they are expecting.
That in itself is information people can use when we know what your trying to compare it to.

None of which you are even allowed to comment on if your under an NDA with KORG.

Not that even KORG are helping on this matter. Now the OS is released, there's still no mention of iOS or Android connectivity in the manual at all.

Sharp.

People can assume & say anything... I can be assuming too now can't I?
I've never said anything factual?

I think we are just needlessly going down a deep topic!

Hi WAVEXtractor
Respectfully I will disagree with you and leave it at that.

I wonder what it is everyone expects for the so called connection with these Pads???

I am already connecting my Pa3X with my iPad and using several programs.
I'm even finding several Yamaha programs work with the Pa3X.

Maybe it is Android that needs to be fixed.

I have an android pad too, but never found any programs that worked very well with any of my keyboards.

Hi Bill.
I'd say you are referring to bog standard midi. That's going to apply to any device on the market that has a Midi Interface. Whatever KORG are talking about in this update, it's certainly not standard midi as the PA3X always had that, same as my 27 year old D50 would connect to your iPad.

Sharp,

For sure that is true, but I am curious what exactly is it that everyone seems to want?

Just wonder if I should want it too! ;-)

Didn't I see a post from Paolo earlier that said 1.63 OS update would come first and the Android IOS connectivity would come later?

EDIT:
Here's what he said ...

"We are sorry for the wait, but we did the work on one side (the Pa) first. We'll release more details regarding the other side (the iPad and Android tablets) at a later date.
