Very few people have commented with decency or actually tried to assist in a sincere helpful manner, what is wrong with you guys? WE have in here 50+ year olds with their dick in their hands, and also stating the obvious, plus making assumptions about my music-making ability, and giving 2 cent self-righteous conceited denigration disguised as advice.

Did any of you actually read my posts carefully enough to get the context of what i was saying?

If Korg had not provided any Piano or EP sounds on the kronos you would be the first ones to complain, right? And yet you tell me to make my own? This is just stupid pigheaded one-eyed bias on your part.

We are in 2014, not 1970, so there is a place to make a complaint because Korg have not addressed the most significant and relevant music-genre today EDM Pop. I'm 43 and can produce music. There are good and bad examples of ANY genre of music, right? If you are all so s**t-hot and EDM needs no skill, then please make me ONE song as EDM and show me how good you are if it's so easy as you infer. Show me how good you are.

Korg failed to provide a full-range of relevant sounds and high-end drumkits for EDM, that was THE CONTEXT of my complaint.

There should be no need at all in this day and age to make our own sounds when Korg released kronos as their premier modern workstation, clearly the programming and sampling team at Korg are just biased know-it-all has beens with their head in the dark-ages. Korg failed to provide adequate range and quality of EDM sounds because apparently they think a stupid Piano and EP and Sitar and Flute are more important that a phat raging synth-hook or phat pulsating Trance-pad, bloody pathetic! I'm laughing at all the low-life banter and rusty old comments from you guys, nothing to see here, nothing valid, just old-timers taking the opportunity to mouth-off a few years before they die. I was born in 1971, so what the f*ck can you tell me that i don't already know, jackass! Can you take what you dish-out, garbage? Not to mention that half of you can't even speak proper English. There's a huge difference between sampling an original acoustic instrument vs a genre where the sounds are supposed to be new, fresh, and creative. As soon as you make it a preset, it's not unique anymore. No, Korg didn't include a whole bunch of EDM presets because the nature of the genre is that people creating EDM also create unique sounds. Korg gave you at least 3 sound engines (one third of all available) that are perfectly suited to that purpose.

If you're going to make a preset, it's pretty easy to predict that someone will want a piano, organ, ep, strings, etc. But for EDM it's more valuable to give the user the flexibility to create a wide palette of electronic sounds. It's all in there.

I would challenge you to give me a list of EDM songs where you can identify any presets from any widely used synth.

How are people supposed to assist when all you're doing is bitching about the Kronos? You don't have a problem, only complaints.

I actually like and listen to electronic music including chill, downtempo, trance and some dubstep/complextro. I take the elements I like and put it into my music.

Funny thing is, of the major MI companies, Korg is clearly at the top of the heap when it comes to electronic music. With a strong commitment to affordable real analogs: MS20mini, MS20 kit, Volca series, monotrons and now the re-release of the ARP Odyssey. Add to that the virtual analogs like the MicroKorgs and the KingKorg. Korg is the only MI that offers their synths in AU/VST and iOS formats for the MANY electronic musicians who prefer to work in software. The new Gadget iOS app is fantastic.

Roland has been doing a good job of late with the Aira series and the Jupiter/Integra/FA/Gaia. Everything is VA but they at least are addressing the electronic musician.

Yamaha, godparticle's fave, produces only sample-playback synths. They completely ignore electronica save a few silly presets/patterns on the Motif series. But NO ONE uses Yamaha synths for electronic music, seriously no one. Want to do some good, godparticle, go over to the Yamaha forums and bitch. THEY are the ones who don't get it!

As stated earlier, if you want "better" drum kits, go to Loopmasters, SoundstoSample or any of the numerous sample sites, download the kits and bring them into the Kronos. The Kronos has the most powerful sampler available in hardware and can easily handle this. The power of the Kronos is that it is so easily personalized with your own programs and samples. I've loaded in BT's sounds from BeatTweaker and Kaskade's which are available online.

You have attempted to preach hatred and contempt toward Korg and our non- English speaking cousins, and expect us to support you - FAILED.
You consider yourself a valid entity in the business of making music, despite your total inability to create your own sounds - FAILED.
