Looks like 0.1.8 did the trick. I tested by unplugging the M1 before running Flex a second time, got the UM-ONE not found error message. Reconnected and restarted Flex, no more crossed USB devices.
And yeah, as far as the apostrophe issue, that's an easy thing to avoid. Probably not the best practice for me to use odd filenames anyway.
Many thanks!

Hello,
Just to express my gratitude on such wonderful editor for the M1!
Wondering if a VST version is something we can look forward to? That would be a killer as I'm mostly recording in the DAW as Cubase etc.
Cheers.

Unfortunately, it would take way too much time and resources to convert to VST.
This is just a side project and was built in a Windows-only environment.
Thank you for your kind words, KorgPlayer!

Thank you very much to the creator of this program !!!! I have a Korg M1EX, which I tested worked. By cons I ask questions, if I send a sysex Prog or Combi planned for a standard M1 to my M1 EX, is it sounds will be as they should be ????? It is a little vague for me the difference between the 2 versions of the device..Thank you in advance for your answers!

Hello.
I first want to thank the developer of FlexEditor.
I bought the m1 a few days ago. I have recovered many sysex collections but I can not transfer them to the m1. I thought maybe it would work with FlexEditor but same result.
Finding in the thread that the .NET version could be involved, I ended up thinking that the problem could come from Windows 10 (which I use).
My USB / MIDI interface seems to work properly. She is new. Purchased yesterday in a musical instrument store.
It is a Alctron UC 220.
I found on the Internet that many m1 users are experiencing this problem.
I followed all the indications recommended in the parameterization.
However, I do not know what is supposed to happen when I click "Bulk sent to m1". On my side, when I do it, nothing happens on the screen.
I then try a "Dump" in MIDI DATA DUMP but nothing changes.
I mention it here in case other users crossing this thread have the same problem.

Hello Cyrille,
Thanks for your interest in Flex Editor M1.
Here are a few items to check:
- - M1 MIDI filtering: Check Global>MIDI FILTERING page and make sure "EXCL" is set to "ENA
- Program Memory Protect: Check Global>PROGRAM MEMORY PROTECT page and make sure "Internal" is set to "OFF"
- Global MIDI Channel: Be sure the MIDI Channel is set to 1. The software currently only works on that channel (something I need to update soon)
See if any of these help. If not, try to do a sysex dump in MIDIOX to see if the problem is not software related.
Good luck!

Hi Sunriser,
Thanks for the Flex Editor!
I'm probably missing something obvious, but I can't figure out how to create a new sysex file made up of individual programs from two other sysex files. When I tried moving some files to the library, saving it under a different name and reopening it, all the other files were still there.

Monkroad,
Open each Sysex file in turn and right-click>Send to Library of each program you want to use in your new file.
Create a New Project. Go to the Library and drag each library program onto the Program List wherever you want.
Save to Syx.
Good luck!

Hello Sunriser.
Thank you for your answer.
The problem came from my interface. I finally bought an M-Audio and I have no worries. Your software works perfectly.
Thank you for this development and your help. It is very appreciated.
With pleasure and good continuation.
