Hi Mike,

No pressure Mike. ;) I can only imagine the work involved to put this together. I'm sure it will be a valuable tool for most users.

Any heads up on what will be covered on your 1st DVD? .. Thanks!

The first DVD will cover:

*Buttons, inputs, outputs and overall surface functions.

*Global mode, including Wave Sequencing and Drum kits.

*Short Demos of Vocoding, Sampling, Sequencing, Opening the case, etc.

(How many short takes, depends on DVD space. I'm going for about 2½ - 3 hours - probably 8 gig dual layer. Details still to be worked out.)

There is a lot of material and I'm trying to keep this first one to a single DVD. If that is the case, it will be under $30. If it needs a second disk, perhaps a little higher (as that ups replication costs). I won't know, until I can time the finish edits.

Doing this project - I now know why the Korg guys remain quiet on developments' timetables and pricing. :D Some variables always pop up.

The October release is looking good. My editor, Greg, is cruising along and should be done in about a week. It is really quite cool to see it coming together - switching between the 3 cameras and making some sense. (While I sit at a different editing station, working on the EXILE stuff, I look over my shoulder at what he's doing and start getting caught up in it!)

After some "proof checking," it will go off to the replicator. In case you are wondering what that is - that is a place that physically "presses" discs, which are much more reliable than dye based DVD-Rs.

No set day. I'm hoping by the end of the month, but that will depend on the replication company. Greg Parker is done with his edit. (I hired this guy to help out and he did - chiseling down 19 hours of footage!)

I'm going through his edit and making lots of changes and adding insert shots. Somehow a whole KARMA demonstration was left out! I'm working on that part, right now. Hopefully, my edit will be done this week. There are some bumps, as he was not familiar with the material (too technical for a non-player).

I will be posting several bits on YouTube, very shortly, so you guys have something to snack on, until ready. Current length is more than 3 hours.
