Don't misquote me!
I said "10 pounds steel padlock", not "forthy three tons".

My whole life came to a halt because
the ONE thing that kept me going was that
and when I didn't have it,
I had nothing to keep me going anymore.
I spent SO MUCH time and energy to get it back.
Now, here's the lyrics from "Sixteen tons"
You load sixteen tons, what do you get
Another day older and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store
I was born one mornin' when the sun didn't shine
I picked up my shovel and I walked to the mine
I loaded sixteen tons of number nine coal
And the straw boss said "Well, a-bless my soul"
I was born one mornin', it was drizzlin' rain
Fightin' and trouble are my middle name
I was raised in the canebrake by an ol' mama lion
Cain't no-a high-toned woman make me walk the line
Sina172 wrote:So don't even go there with me, cause I WILL throw a tantrum here and you are NOT gonna like it.
again, from "Sixteen Tons"
If you see me comin', better step aside
A lotta men didn't, a lotta men died
One fist of iron, the other of steel
If the right one don't a-get you
Then the left one will
There's definitely some theme recurring here

Interesting, if true. I wonder if SuperNatural has anything at all to do with AP Synthesis...
I'm still more interested in the Kronos. Accurate B-3 modeling and VA options are more important to me at this point in time than realistic acoustic articulations.

Good grief... managed to peek at two of those links before the plug got pulled. Now the cat in me wants to KNOW! Not that I'd be hot to dump The K for a new expensive Roland or anything, but I have this silly craving to hoard geeky info on all the synths in the universe. Kind of an info packrat or something.
By the way, if oz-man's find was cleaned up a bit, that red spray paint rubbed off and the duct tape yanked, I'd be all over that! And is that Sesame Street in the display?? BONUS!

I am going to wait till next week (Dave Boulden thinks it looks a bit Marmite....)... I know what you mean, but then I love Marmite.
It kind of looks a bit like a Jupiter 8 crossed with a V-synth - so hope it does V-synth stuff - not yet very excited by SuperNatural - It'll need to be pretty powerful to convince me - I just hope its got a really good VA inside.
So on a first look I still want a Kronos.
