Style Editor Quantize PERCENTAGE needed
In the Style editor, it would be a great addition to have a PERCENTAGE parameter when quantizing notes. As it is now you can either have non-quantized or fully quantized and no in-between. The quality of styles would GREATLY increase with this addition!

Wow - me!!! With a wish??? When I am so in love with Korg that I could never ask for more???
Well, just a little wish (since PA1 days) - would love to see the sync start LED flash at the tempo of the style (like the M3 tempo LED) - great when you want to verbally count straight in to a number with other musicians etc...
There!!! I admit it!! Korg is not perfect....
Whoops -

maybe the PA3X does that??? Haven't got mine yet
Some critical features to add!

I am updating these quotas, because they are still NEEDED and KORG should response for theese very very handy issues in their new PA3X OS update!!!
Lika wrote:Hi.
I don't know what we will see in
new KORG PA3X OS but would be nice if in
next OS we will have this ability -
In Sampler Mode to have COMPRESS / De-COMPRESS function , to have ability to choose which samples we need to compress/de-compess ...
I made two pics where we can see how those will be shown :
First pic is Page Menu in Sampler Mode.
<a href="

http://www.divshare.com/img/17637731-e33.jpg" border="0"></a>
Second pic will appears when we press Compress Samples or DeCompress Samples in Page menu ... and will be shown like this:
<a href="

http://www.divshare.com/img/17637733-b60.jpg" border="0"></a>
Here we have ability to select which Samples we want to Compress / decompress ... can use Shift button to select samples one by one or multi select - like that that we do in Media Mode

...
That's all we all KORG PA3X owner want !!!

Is this function soooooooooooo difficult to incorporate?
All workstations have this very handy function!!!
Why PAs should not have it?
Please, please, please, fix this problem KORG ITALY!!!
It will be a great added value for our creativity with your machine!

However it would be cool to plug in lets say nano pad directly to pa3x and use it live without pc, or make styles using nano pad, so there's a sugestion...
The Korg Kronos' new OS has allowed direct USB use of the Nano series of USB controllers. So the code exists... Whether Korg can shoehorn it into the PA series is another question.
But you would think, from a marketing and retail point of view, having each division of Korg put in the 'hooks' for other division's products would be a no-brainer, as opposed to what currently seems to be the situation...
A no brain -errrrr!

+10000000 for this simple thing!!!
Unless they wish to force their customers to invest for the Pad Control and connect it with the PA3X via MIDI...
Is it soooo difficult to?

The ability to load WAV, AIFF, AKAI samples, KMP is total crap.
Also how nice would it be if we can load VST (keep dreaming)

Style EDIT / Create
instead of holding the delete button on screen to delete notes, why can't we touch it once, and it stays held, and touch again to release, this way we can test notes, percussion etc. while the style is playing to see how it would fit.
This was an option on the i30, and I have been asking for it since the pa1x came out.
come on man !

Most important thing to me is to have the style endings decay naturally. Some of them cut off abruptly and it does not sound natural. Yes, you can edit and work around, but shouldn't have to.

Pressing STOP stops them all at the same time. Keeping STOP pressed and pressing one of
the PAD buttons only stops that sound or pattern.
(manual page 48

)
Yes, You can stop individually. Press STOP and while it is pressed, press the button of the pad you want to stop. That pad will stop. Hope this helps.

I want when pressing simultaneously the shift+value up/down buttons to act the same as Pa1x and Pa2x. I mean to follow the alfabetical order of songbook songs or media files. Now it acts like the tempo buttons.

Assign footswitch to toggle SPLIT button?

Please tell me I can do this on my PA3x...
Can we not assign the assignable switch pedal or EC5 to toggle the SPLIT button?! This really needs to be added. As a keyboardist will commonly want to switch from full keyboard scanning for backing another player to split keyboard scanning for soloing in the right hand.
Certainly this is possible, no?!
If not, please add the ability to select the SPLIT button as a destination for the foot switches.
