I never liked Bosendorfers. The best piano I ever played was a full size Steinway concert grand at the Hilton Hotel in London UK. All a matter of personal taste though.

Personal taste is what makes us all tick. I can tell you that when I played a Bosendorfer Imperial Grand 290, it was like experiencing the ultimate high ;)

I did play a very nice Yamaha grand recently at the old folks home. Don't know which model though. It was surprisingly easy to play, well maintained and perfectly tuned. I was tempted to buy one. A lot better than my beat up old grand. Mind you, it's 95 years old so it's had a good inning.

That's about how old my Baldwin baby grand is... and it too, is all beat up as its gotten a lot of use and moved with me throughout my life... from the midwest, to the east coast, to the west coast! I don't think I'll ever buy another piano because it still sounds good, but with my Kronos and Nord there's no shortage of "pianos on a chip" for me :)
