@goranbeograd

Can you find out what SYSEX MSG is sending Pa3x when you press Transpose??
You can do with USB connection and MID-OX program.
...or anybody with Pa3x.. we know already SYSEX form Pa4x (tnx Pete)
We are so close to find exactly what happen with Pa4x.
Maybe Paolo will try to investigate this, he is on best position to do this.
Frankly, I am nicely surprise Korg Arrangers can do it, is a function which is not advertised :)

:)
I got same access to Paolo like you, I'm only forum member, Korg lover.
I'm sure if he read this he will take action.

I am keep doing research on SYSEX allow for Kronos and maybe (not sure) I see error.
00 F0 7F 3F 04 04 00 41 F7
00 F0 7F 3F 04 04 00 42 F7
this seems OK except 00 is for Pitch Bend Sensitivity ( Bend Range ), 01 for Fine Tune ( Detune ) and 02 for Coarse Tune ( Transpose ),
which make me think SYSEX should looks like: 00 F0 7F 3F 04 04 02 41 F7 instead 00 F0 7F 3F 04 04 00 41 F7.... but again, just my suggesting .
35 ~ 4B (-11 ~ +11 semitones), 40 for no transposition, which giving 41 for +1 semitone transpose.
we see when someone post SYSEX from Pa3x.

This how should look SYSEX for Kronos:

Master Coarse Tune ( Control Transpose (chromatic step) in Global )
[ F0,7F,0g,04,04,vv,mm,F7 ] 3rd byte g : Global Channel
6th byte vv : Value(LSB)
7th byte mm : Value(MSB)
mm,vv = 34,00:-12, 40,00:+00, 4C,00:+12

SYSEX Down F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 40 F7

SYSEX Up F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 41 F7

So now we all know different :)

Pa3x SYSEX
F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 40 F7 (-)
F0 7F 7F 04 04 00 41 F7 (+)

Pa4x SYSEX
F0 7F 3F 04 04 00 41 F7
F0 7F 3F 04 04 00 42 F7

third one: 3F, 7F is global channel,
but, before last one is value, which we have different.

@MarcoNp
is both up and down not working??

you mean on Pa4x works when you push both??
can you check SYSEX on both together on Pa3x (reset)
and maybe someone check all 3 SYSEX on Pa4x ??

looks to me like small bug with programming, easy to fix.. of course by Korg

OK - a bit more:-
SYSEX!!!

PA4X transpose up and down:
F0 7F 3F 04 04 00 41 F7 (up)
F0 7F 3F 04 04 00 42 F7 (down)

Kronos (transpose in set list):
00 F0 42 30 68 43 25 00 00 14 00 00 00 01 F7 (up)
00 F0 42 30 68 43 25 00 00 14 00 00 00 00 F7 (down)

Kronos "key transpose value change" (GLOBAL):-
00 F0 42 30 68 43 0F 00 00 01 00 00 00 04 F7 (up)
00 F0 42 30 68 43 0F 00 00 1A 00 00 00 01 F7 (down)
(These vary depending on transpose value)

I don't think PA1/2/34X to Kronos would ever work.

Cheers

Pete :D

If i transpose Pa3x -1, Kronos X Global will show -1 for transpose as well
Pa4 has issue with this!

Is only one way to find out
We need to find someone who own Pa3x and Kronos and test it.

Personally for me this function is useless, I'm from group people who don't transpose keys, I play in scale whatever is, no need to transpose, but many people love transpose and since was working on Pa3x I think is no harm to make work on Pa4x.
I am more concern if midi out chord is sending like they say in manual:
Chord
Use this channel to send notes recognized by the Chord Recognition
engine to the MIDI OUT or USB DEVICE port. This is useful, for example,
to control an external Harmonizer playing on the Lower part
(even if the part is muted).
or still like in Pa600 is sending only notes (by passing) from keyboard before Chord Recognition engine.
This in my opinion is very useful function to work with 2-nd keyboard.
Was be perfect if is working on Chord Sequencer too, could have free hand and still sending chords to external arpeggiator.
BTW, can somebody check on this???
