How can I change my dvd player to play dvd`s from any region? I have bought a DVD from America as the film it is so old, it is out of print over here in the uk. Is there any way to enable my player to read both region 1 and 2 dvds? Also, do you have to change it back to region 2 each time I have finished watching the US disc?

Nabaraski,
The main issue is that you will need a DVD player and TV monitor capable of playing videos using the American NTSC video encoding format, which is different from the PAL format used in rest of world. Many DVD players are capable of handling both NTSC and PAL, though only the most recent TV monitors can handle both formats.
That is why we had to produce two sets of DVD's for "Arranger Secrets" - the set distributed in North America is produced using an NTSC encoder and the set for Europe is produced using a PAL encoder. There is no region code on our DVDs.
Regards,
Rob

Ok, I said we were currently out of stock. MickB has had to take a rest as distributor. I asked for a new Distributor for Rest of World to express interest to take over from MickB. There has been no-one, not a single person on this forum prepared to offer assistance even if paid 5 Euros just to put a package in the post once or twice a week.
Therefore unless a Distributor comes forward, I regret to announce that there will be no more "Korg Arranger Secrets DVDs" manufactured in PAL format for Rest of World. No 4th DVD either.
Frank Ventresca in the USA has a few NTSC format DVD's remaining. I will give Frank the choice whether he personally wishes to invest in a stock of new DVD's (minimum order quantity is 50 from the manufacturer).
I will not be putting further personal effort or capital investment into this project myself. I will wait until January in case a miracle occurs and someone offers to take over from MickB as distributor. If not then I will write to everyone on the waiting list saying the DVD's are no longer available.

Rob Sherratt

News update
I'm very pleased to welcome AdDeRoo from Italy as the new distributor for DVD's in "rest of world" for DVD's that are in PAL format. Ad De Roo joins frankiev (Frank Ventresca, Audioworks CT) who continues in his role as the distributor for America and Canada for NTSC format DVD's. We are currently manufacturing a new stock of 50 sets of DVD's (both PAL and NTSC format) and we apologize to all those who have for some time been on a waiting list. The price is now 45 Euros incl P&P in rest of world, and $70 incl P&P in North America. There is a small surcharge for delivery to Canada and South America.
To order, just send an email to KorgArrangerSecrets@gmail.com enclosing your name and delivery address and we will contact you with payment details just before your DVD's are sent out. In "rest of world" the only payment we can accept is in Euros via PAYPAL. I believe Frank Ventresca can be more flexible for North America customers.
Best regards,
Rob Sherratt

PA500 & Arranger Secrets Question . . .
Hi, Rob -
I just got my PA500 and I'm hoping that the content of your DVDs will be
helpful to get me up and running with it.
I know that some features will be absent in my arranger, however I'm wondering if the majority of the info you offer applies to the 500.
Also, do you have any resources I can check on to find out more about how to get the PA500 and my M3-73 to dance well together???
Thank you for all of the great work you're doing,
Suz

Just to let everyone know, all back orders for these DVD's have now been fulfilled. We do have DVD's in stock for immediate delivery to anyone who now places an order. There were a few people who placed "back orders" who we have been unable to contact because either telephone numbers or email addresses do not work. If you are someone who placed a back order but has not heard from me in the last 2 weeks, please send an email to:
korgarrangersecrets@gmail.com
Best regards,
Rob
