Korg M3 with Radias

...ok, to make a long story short....I kinda did a lot of stuff bass ackwards...

I bought a Radias R brand new years ago, I really like it. Then about 2 years ago I bought a M3 Module. It''s totally updated. Over a period of time I purchased all the options, the Radias internal board, the fire wire thingy, the extra RAM expansion, actually the previous owner kinda hotrodded it a bit with a lot of ram...and it's already "expanded".

Anyway...since I have the internal Radias board would there be any advantage to also MIDI it to my Radias R? Would any of the Karma stuff recognize 2 separate Radias synths automatically?

Another question, which has better effects? The Radias R or the M3 expanded?

Thank you ahead of time for helping me fill in the blanks...

Personally given one over the other I would choose the EXB-RADIAS.

The M3/EXB has better integration and FX processing without question. But the standalone RADIAS output can be routed back into the M3 for FX processing.

An external RADIAS is nothing more that any other external synth. It is a great synth engine with a nice control surface. But still just another external synth with a very nice control surface.

I regret not getting one back in the day.

But to your last question .. M3 has better FX.

both are real good.
I now have 3 radiasr and 2 m3m...
they both do sounds different... at least on my system.
radiasr has some cool classic sounds.. love the knobs...
I just wish there was a larger version
of both with more controls right up front.

I would have both if you can swing it..
and if you can't save up so you can!! :D

get steven Kays program for the m3m. well worth the bucks
as well as the dvd set and sound sets.
