I thought it was replace with the "Global" selection field in rhe mic screen. I didn't fing out yet how it works exactly. Page 851 explains it, but i need to look in further to be sure of it.

Noël is right: what was done by using the lock, is now done by choosing the Global Voice Preset. The switch is in the Mic pane of the main page.
With this new approach, you can choose your preferred voice settings, while still being free to choose some special settings when needed, by letting a Keyboard Set or SongBook Entry choose a dedicated Voice Preset.

This "switch" is been reset every time when I change style....
If I understand correctly now global voice preset lock is when we deselect "Global" checkbox on MIC tab?
I uncheck "Global" on Mic Tab and when I change style that "Global" checkbox on Mic tab is again on "checked"state and preset always goes to 1.st user preset. So right now ,we do not have working GLOBAL LOCK Voice preset option.
We want when we choose for example user vocal preset 8 or what ever to stay that until we manually choose different one.

New way of organization voice presets thrugh keyboard sets is a disaster.
Real torture on gig.
What they were thinking when they changed this???
It is good ONLY if you change main KB sets below display if you are playing one song, packed specifically for it's purpose - in a song style or specific songbook entry.
Using other keyboard sets during current song is useless, because that other kb set reset or change voice preset to some other, and harmony stops or worse, change to wrong preset...
I'm trying to get use to it and to figure out how to manage voice presets and using different keyboard sets, but after over a month, conclusion is = Vocalist is useless.
Korg could solve this with additional Global lock... But, according to Paolo's answers, I'm doubt that's gonna happen... Someone in charge, who is working at Korg is definitely not giging, and have no idea what headache gave to us, users with this change.

The global Voice Preset is used when the Global checkbox is selected. It's an on/off switch.

Vex, as far as I understand, what you write above assumes the Global switch works in reverse. If you want the Keyboard Sets to not change your Voice Preset settings, leave the Mic > Global checkbox selected.

Paolo ,thanks for trying to help, but it is not working.
If you wish I could make a video clip and upload on YouTube about it?
But ,again, my question is :
is there a way (in future updates I hope ) to add additional lock in Global, that if I select a voice preset via "Preset " hardware button ,that preset remain until I change it again there manually? - A way to override keyboard set voice preset settings?
On previous models, that was simply done by this option (lock) in Global ( Second from left - Voice processor preset ) :

My workaraound:
1. Go in to global mode --> Mic Setup
2. Change the Global Voice preset to your choice.
3. Tick of "Global" i Mic playmode.
Seem to hold the choosen global voice preset mode.
