Up to what OS X does the microKONTROL work with

were you able to get your microkontrol to work with yosemite? i have been in OS X 10.5.8-land forever, until my machine crashed a few months back. now i have a desktop running 10.5.8 (to keep my studio going), and a new macbook running yosemite (to see what is possible now). last night was my first time to try and get the microkontrol to work with yosemite, but no luck.

if connected to my macbook via usb, it sends midi internally - such as to garageband - but i cannot get it to route back out the hardware midi out to my external synths. i am 99.9% sure i have my studio set up properly in apple midi utility. also running the latest korg midi driver.

if anyone has had luck with a microkontrol under yosemite, please drop a message! :)

but i think we're screwed. when researching the problem i saw this post saying the microkontrol editor was defunct as of OS X 10.7 - which is a pretty big sign of no longer being supported by korg.

it's a true shame, because i love the build, look and feel of this little controller so damn much! (aside from the lack of aftertouch - leaving that function out of so many recent keyboards is such a huge loss of expression.)
