Korg electribe 2 & Ableton...

Hello everybody !

I bought the korg a couple days ago and I love it !!!
However I have a big problem when I want to export my patterns into Ableton.
Indeed I can't : it says that i have too much tracks. It's 8 max...

So, i can't work with ableton live, do i have to buy the full version ?
Do you know if there's an other way to record my songs ?

You don't have to buy full version if you don't want to. When you export audio as ableton live set you have 2 types of ableton files in the folder. First is for full version, in the second the project is splited to 2 parts 8 tracks each for lite.

The problem with the exportation is now fixed thank you very much !
However do you know a little trick to have more tracks ?
8 is not enough to work properly and i don't control ableton correctly for the moment..

Do you know if there's an other way to record my songs ?

You can connect the outputs of the Electribe into your PC and record the audio directly from there.

You can for example in ableton send 2-3 chanels (open and closed hh, cymbal, etc...) and record it to 1 chanel.
