Korg X5D notes randomly not playing

I switched my X5D off and when I turned it back on every 4th or 5th note randomly wouldn't play. It didn't matter which bank I tried, I got the same result. They could be different notes, or just playing the same note, but every 4th or 5th keystroke wouldn't play. When playing chords some notes of the chord would play whilst others randomly wouldn't. I tried using MIDI IN to control the X5D from another keyboard, and got the same problem. I have performed a factory rest and reloaded the pre-set sounds, and still the same problem. Any suggestions (apart from "time to buy a new one!")?

Maybe it's problem with Odd/Even notes settings.
Click on "Global" button, then navigate to page "2A MIDI GLOBAL".
Next to 'NoteR" you should have "All".
If its "Even" or "Odd", you can have problem similar to which you described. So, change it to "All".
