Does the PA3X USB to midi connect include audio signals or not? For example if I connect 3X with Cubase via USB cable do I need separate audio L/R cables or not?

You would need separate Audio cables.

Sam,

one thing about additional inputs I can't realize:

-when recording in MP3, you get all Pa3x sounds/style INCLUDING THE SINGING VOICE (if you connect the microphone to the Mic Input of Pa3x), that is analog (not digital):

-BUT.... when I connect another device Midi controlled by Pa3x (in my case, an Hammond expander) to the optional inputs 1&2, I can't get the Hammond sound recorded.

Am I wrong? Should I do something specific? Or it is just not possible?

Thank you

Angelo

Hmmm, to be honest I've only used those additional inputs 1 & 2 once. I just connected my iPod or something simple like that. I'm really not sure if those inputs are bypassed while recording mp3 files.

So this is not just a midi controller right? It actually produces Audio that can be routed back into the keyboard?

You still need separate Midi and Audio cable though! Also, not every sound card/Audio Interface supports Digital input.

@ MadrasGiaguari

According to the manual on page 101:

Any audio signal entering the Audio Inputs is recorded (single microphone input with the “Mic In
to Voice Processor” option selected, or the Left and Right line inputs with the “L+R to MP3 (no Mic)”
option selected. See “Audio Setup: Audio In” on page 215). Harmony voices generated by the Voice
Processor will be recorded as well.

Hi I have connected 3X through USB to Cubase it works really well.
But one thing more Please guide me, there are 2 audio outputs as you know 1/2 and L/R outputs when I use the L/R outputs in Cubase then pan does not work left/right, but the insert and master effect work perfectly. However when I use the 1 and 2 3X outputs in Cubase then the opposite happens it pans left and right fine but does not give the insert and master effect.
I think I might need to check the internal settings if anyone knows please tell me what I need to do kindly thanks. Also tell me is the Digital out SPDIF or not. I send pitcher below:
