Hello, I have a problem with my Kontrol 49. Some keys and buttons don't work, the keyboard is misconfigured and I don't know what to do.
Please help me, I'm desperate. Thanks

Is there a pattern to the keys that don't work or are they randomly distributed across the board? Could it have been caused by a change of "scene"? For some scenes, not all the pads are active. Have you tried the KONTROL49 editor librarian software and, if so, can it read the keyboard configuration properly?
Is the Kontrol49 powered via USB or with the power supply? Might be worth trying the power supply. Some USB ports supply less than ideal power.

I'm not aware of a factory reset key sequence for the Kontrol49.
Does the editor librarian software appear to work OK?
One possibilty is to try a firmware update, or at least put the K49 into firmware update mode and then power cycling it to see if that does anything. The procedure is described in the upgrade guide, thus:
Hold down the [SETTING], [MESSAGE], [EXIT], and [OCTAVE SHIFT / CURSOR >] keys, and then turn on the power of the microKONTROL / KONTROL49. (Note: Nothing will appear on the microKONTROL / KONTROL49 display).
It does appear as if the K49 might require repair. One more thing to try might be to take the cover off and check all the connecting cables and connections are good. Give them all a bit of a wiggle. It's not unheard of for the insulation displacement type of connectors to lose contact.
