Korg Kaoss Mini 2S does not play back samples

When I record a sample from the line input there is no audio when I play it back. It's in the folder and will play the file but no audio is played. When I record the same sample using the master recorder, it plays fine.

If I record a sample from the mic, it works as it should.

Also, it seems inconsistent as when I first tested it it would not play the audio, but then it did. It's not a bad cable and seems to be a bug.
