Loading Purgatory sounds..?

Hi! I'm having some trouble loading sounds from Purgatory Creek. When I unzip the file I download from Korg.com it doesn't contain any .PCG or .KSC data, but instead three files called .exsins, .tar.gz and S143. I'm a longtime Kronos owner, but haven't bought any libraries until now. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to proceed..?

That is supposed to be there. These are samples, not pcg. There are many threads on here on how to load samples. If i am not mistaken all the samples that Busch are mapped to User G bank although you can place them anywhere you choose.

Ok, thanks. There is a tutorial on the Purgatory website but it doesn't apply to samples. Like I said, I bought my Kronos 5 years ago and I've used the sampler but only for my own wavs and not for these kinds of files. I'm still at a loss so if you have a link to a good thread on how to make this happen if really appreciate it... I get many hits in the search engine but nothing about this specific issue. Cheers!

if there is an .exsins file, it means you need to install it (run the installer) (page 815 parameter guide). That will then store the samples and PCG on your Kronos HDD or SDD

Problem solved! Thanks a million. The Purgatory CP70 is running on my Kronos now, it sounds great!
