School boy error

So, was working on a track in Ableton. I have the bass line down, another synth line ready.
I spent a while getting a drum groove on the ES2.. the right level of swing, some complementary sounds...
I manged to patch it into my newly built little modular to get some nice FX going on.
Satisfied with how it all worked I thought "I'll come back to that later". Saved the Live file, shut down my PC and turned off the ES2.
TURNED OFF THE ES2 WITHOUT SAVING THE PATTERN.

Idiot!
