Hello everyone.
I'm happy with my Microkorg XL for several months but yesterday it no longer works.
It power on, it lights on, "Microkorg XL" is on the screen, but no more : the synth does not boot on a sound preset and remains frozen like that with only "microkorg xl" on screen.
Is it a known problem on this synth ? Is there a manipulation/process/repair to do?
I tried to put myself in service mode, but do not have the service manual, I do not know what to test.
If somebody has the Microkorg XL service manual ?

Sounds very bad.
I'm not aware of an available service manual for the XL, though the service mode does exist. Not sure what you can do with it.
I'm afraid you can not do too much yourself to get this fixed... Somthing similar was reported before here on the forum, but no solution was proposed...

The best option you have is to get the board back to your Korg dealer.
